We have a lot of local performances in the next several months and remember your are

required to give Miss Julie a 2 week notice if you are unable to attend a performance,

so that your group has time to work on new formations without you so the dance will still look great! 

 

We need a updated Pre-performing and Company Data Base, so please fill out the bottom

portion of this page and return it to at your teacher at your next class!

Dance Tuition:

Your full tuition is due on the 1st class of the month. 

 Tuitions turned in on the 2nd week of the month will be charged a $10.00 late fee.

Please check your records to make sure you are current and also your yearly registration fee. 

Billings for past due accounts will be sent home mid month and dancers must keep tuitions current

to be able to participate in performances and continue company unlimited rates.

 


Unlimited Dancers:

please make sure your are have an office hour or are a demo class once a week to continue your

 unlimited scholarship rate of $100.00 or your tuition will increase to the $125.00

 unlimited company rate (see Director for current schedule availability)

We will have a intermission fundraiser towards our hotel rooms for our November Magic Mountain Trip                                        Please bake 2-3 dozen cookies and bring the day of the recital on a disposable plate                                                                              (we will be asking for intermission donations for the companies) I also, need parents to help                                                                and Rosemary Fugle will be heading up the 50/50 raffle we will have in Act 2. Thank you ahead of                                              time to all the parents that are helping to make this recital a wonderful experience for their special dancers!!

SATURDAY DECEMBER (TBA)- PARADE STARTS AT 10AM

HOWDOWN THROWDOWN - WIILL OPEN THE PARADE - WE WILL DANCE

IN FRONT OF THE JUDGES GRANDSTAND AND BE ON LIVE TV, then participate in the parade!!!!

THE PARADE IS A "WILD WILD WESTERN CHRISTMAS THEME!

MAXINE LEWIS HOMELESS SHELTER  - performance is 3:30PM

at the South Bay Community Center.

SIX FLAGS MOUNTAIN – DANCE FEST!

SUNDAY NOVEMBER 1ST 2009

Park Opens 10:30am-10:00pm (extended hours for this event)

 

Dancers & Families,

 

We have been talking about this event for over 6 months & now the final information

has arrived by mail!  We are going to participate in the Dance Fest at Magic Mountain

for a day of dance, great experience and a lot of fun. We will perform at the Golden Bear Stage!

(This is a great addition to add to your future resumes!)

 

We will car pool and need to make a minimum of 15 reservations to participate!

We are going to have 15 minutes to dance and will have to make a dance medley

or perform just 1 dance number.  We will not be able to change costumes or shoes.

We are only taking our CC Dance Team (Emily, Josie, Madison, Seneca, Shannon)

Miss Julie & Haley are going to join the girls for the final section.  So, this is only 7

out of 15 reservations.  We need 8 more Family/Friends to attend so we can participate!

We will be sent our tickets ahead of time, so if you have family or friends out of the area

that want to attend, you’ll have plenty of time to mail them their tickets before the event!

 

Regular ticket prices are $53.99 to get into the park!

Our Spectator price is only: $22.99 (Family & Friends price!) (save $31.00 ea)

Performer price:  $26.50 (includes a 6x8 photo and a commemorative ribbon)

Child under 48”: $15.00 (save $14.99)

We can also prepay for a Meal Deal - $9.00 (chicken strip basket/cheeseburger or

slice of pizza and medium drink- locations to redeem are listed on the voucher)

**All of the above is non-refundable or transferable**

 

Please turn in your Check made to C.C. Dance by September 23rd   for your full reservation

 & medical & liability release for the dance fest and the other one for CC Dance.

Please include all the names of your family and friends for the break down.

Please let Miss Julie know if you can drive and if you can take any dancers!

Dancers that carpool will be asked to give your driver $25.00 to help with gas & parking.

Parking is $15.00 per car for the day at the park!

 

Those carpooling will leave early from Los Osos the morning of the event unless

 previously arranged! It is aprox 3 ½ to the park! Halloween is the night before so

 please pre-plan your schedules ahead of time!!

 

We will not find out our performance time until after they receive our reservation.

 The event is on a 1st come basis for the best performance time! 

We can add more reservations after we have our initial reservation for last minute guests!

 

***P.S. we are going to have a Garage Sale Fundraiser on Saturday October 10th to help

 raise money for our 2010 convention/competition – start saving your items!

 2010 SEASON - COMPANY CLASS REQUIREMENTS

 

JAZZY KIDZ

  Requirements: 

 1-2 or more  additional class's are recommended for dancers that wish 

to raise their dance levels faster but not required

Additional  & Recommended - 1 Kidz Combo or Ballet Class

 

CENTRAL COAST DANCE TEAM: 

 3 Classes Required (4 or more Recommended)

 Company Class  & Jazz 1-2,  Lyrical Class, 1-2 Ballet Classes, Tap Class

 

  PETITE/YOUTH  BALLET COMPANY   

3 Classes Required (4 or more Recommended)

Company Ballet  Class,  Lyrical Class, Ballet Class, Additional Classes recommended

 

 C.C. Dancers - REQUIREMENTS ARE PERSONALLY ARRANGED WITH THE DIRECTOR

Dancers will be required to sign a  contract for a full season. Company dancers will required to purchase their own costumes  & personal dance items.

The Director will select all costumes & dancers will receive the studio’s discount.  Basic items that are worn at all shows are: black shiny jazz pants, black jazz shoes,

 black tank leotard, rhinestone necklace & earring's.  All items must be ordered through the studio so we have a professional uniformed look.                                                                             

Company stage makeup is required at all performances.

 

SCHOLARSHIP RATES:

Dancers wishing to reach a higher dance level faster, are encouraged to take more classes.

A   special unlimited dance scholarship is available only to company dancers for $100.00 to $125.00 a month. Dancer’s or a parent  must work 1 office hour  

or demo 1 class a week. You earn $25.00 a month ($500-700 a year to help with your tuition)  A family member may work a dancers office hour.

We have a limited number office and demo hours available. Dancers will be selected on an individual basis.  Our  regular unlimited company scholarship

without an office/demo hour is $125.00 a month.  With a demo or office hour is $100.00 a month. Our regular studio student unlimited rate  is $143.00 a month.

Please contact  Miss Julie if you are interested in the special scholarship for your special dancer.

 

All Companies will perform at local events, festivals and fairs on the central coast and the June Studio Recital.  

Dancers are also  required to attend a National Dance Convention & Competition.

We will have fundraisers to help with competition fees &  hotel  expenses for group rooms.

Each dancer is responsible for her tuition/fees/hotel for the weekend.  Please check our the website under performing companies for conventition/competition information.

This is a fabulous educational weekend  & a positive learning experience!

 

COMPANY REQUIRED ACCESSORIES FOR FEMALES:                                                                                                                                                                          All Dancers must have a rhinestone necklace & the new company rhinestone earrings, a nude leotard and a black tank leotard                                                               & black shinny jazz pants, tan & black soft jazz shoes depending on the dance you are in) available in the boutique.                                                                          These item will be part of our performance uniform for all show.                                                                                                      

HOLIDAYS:  We will following the San Luis Costal school holiday schedule this year and will be closed when school is closed,                                                           this will effect mostly Monday classes and company rehearsals.  Please use your  makeup's accordingly.

A note from Julie: In efforts to save on the cost of zeroxing each month, notes, schedules, brochures,

 company & studio newsletters, show orders, etc! We have purchased a domain name & are paying a

 monthly fee to have a “.com web site” for everyone’s convince.  I also need all *parents*  updated email addresses so I can

send newsletters out, via email incase you have not checked the web site in a while. Please email me at the address above so

I can add you to the company list. I will also have a copy of the printed information on the company bulletin board above the microwave

 in the office for your convince. I would highly recommend that you check the web site each Monday evening!

I hope that this will help to keep communicate at 100% this season

& save the cost of printing unnecessary handouts that 1/2 the time never reach you, (the parents)!
